My Backstory:

Before I was behind the camera, I was in front of it and on stage, and in all those auditions, and... all that jazz . I get it. All of it.

I trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and have been an Equity member for over 25 years. I've worked as an actor and director across theatre, film and television, and for the past several years I've been directing for Adrenaline Studios on productions for Netflix, Disney and Sky. I apply exactly the same level of care and craft to every showreel I make.

I also run Super 8 Acting Academy, where I teach and direct actors every week. When you work with me, you're not just handing yourself over to someone with a 'Netflix approved' camera, (mine is by the way, but let's be honest, your reel ain't going on Netflix...)You're working with someone who has stood where you're standing and understands what it takes to make a casting director stop scrolling.​

The shoot:​

On the day itself, my job is simple... make you feel relaxed enough to do your best work. I write bespoke scripts designed around your casting type and personality. I direct with patience and specificity. And yes, there will be the occasional dad joke.(I started out as a stand-up comedian and I can't always help myself), but I promise it keeps the atmosphere exactly where it needs to be.
